With the UK having got politically heavy lately, TTNG (previously This Town Needs Guns) are here to drive the point home in our minds with the depressingly and truthfully named album Disappointment Island, which lands in 8th July via Sargent House. Actually named after an inhabited island in New Zealand and not the aftermath of brexit resignations, the album sits on the chirpier end of the math rock spectrum with its bouncing bass lines and waltzing drum beats. One of our favourites is 'Destroy The Tabernacle!’ which shows off the Oxford trio's complex musicality.
